Before founding Weemba, Constancio Larguia was a venture investor and Chairman of Bumeran.com, the first on-line jobs search engine of Latin America, with operations in Argentina, Venezuela, and Mexico. The company was later acquired by Terra Lycos. Constancio started his career while in college as co-founder of Patagon.com, the first on-line stock brokerage in Latin America. The company had operations in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile and the United States. Headquartered in Miami, the company was later acquired by Banco Santander of Spain in a cash deal that valued the company at $705 million.
Weemba is an online financial community revolutionizing the way borrowers and professional Lenders connect & interact. Weemba makes it possible for commercial and individual borrowers to access professional Lenders in a non-traditional “social network”-like format without regard to limitations of time and geography. Borrowers post their loan needs in the form of a “loan project”, with limited identifying information, and lenders search these projects to find borrowers who fit their lending criteria.

Prior to founding STIR-Communications in 2004 as an initial tax loop hole, Greg Salsburg was hailed as a “PR Wunderkid” by The New York Daily News. Further proving you can fool all of the people all of the time, his business insights and skills were also noticed by Crain’s New York Business who called him “A sagacious marketer with keen tactical instincts.” TIMEOUT said of his work, “Creative, forward thinking and exciting.” Following a move to South Florida, Salsburg was immediately named a business “Up & Comer” by South Florida Business Journal and named South Florida CEO’s “Power Player.” All of which has made his grandmother very proud and her bridge partners envious. You too can see for yourself why Greg has charmed the masses through witty and insightful ramblings here.
Today, STIR-Communications is a solution focused Advertising, Strategic Public Relations and Multimedia firm, formed to kick the asses of all the unimaginative sycophants piously hiding behind their marketing jargon gleaned only earlier in the day from their local coffee shop.
MO: How much experience did you have working with ‘unimaginative sycophants’ before starting your own PR and Advertising firm? Did regular contact with insipid people in the industry provide some of the motivation for becoming an entrepreneur?

From their first experience online or in store, to ordering and unpacking the product, and the follow up customer service, all of these experiences should be modeled around the potential to delight the customer. The best brands deliver a cohesive and authentic experience that makes the customer the focal point of every part of the business. But before you begin your inward evaluation to innovate your business model and brand strategy, let’s take a look at companies who missed opportunities, and who is doing it right:
